Love this Lucia. The pearls of wisdom from your friends are absolutely spot on, “never date a guy with 2 first names” is a classic. I hope your sister and others can see the value in these experiences. I guess it’s a journey everyone navigates and as you have shown, requires self reflection and learning.
In some ways I still see in you, albeit from afar, many of the attributes you displayed in high school; your sense of humour and fun, ethical approach and deep integrity as well as a maturity beyond your years. Above all, what you give unwaveringly as a friend and person shows your strong values of respect, kindness and empathy. This blog encapsulates all that!! Loved reading it.
